Lazy Bear Lodge is a stunning 3,000 plus sq.ft. home with 6 bedroom and 4 baths nestled in the towering pines of Ouachita National Forest …including creek side frontage. Just newly completed in Spring of 2014, it is the place to land…just at the end of the road! Relax or dine on the large deck area that overlooks the creek and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sound of the peaceful creek. Or maybe soak in the large hot tub overlooking the creek and fire pit area. This deck is complete with plenty of seating and a game of horseshoes on the side. This 2 story cabin is a great place to spend quality time with a large family or group of friends. Inside Lazy Bear Lodge, enjoy the floor to ceiling windows of the forest. The family room opens up into the kitchen and hosts beautiful 28 feet pine ceilings with cedar beams where there is plenty of seating with 2 sofas, a dining table for 10, a bar area, and luxurious décor complete with a 55” flat screen TV. There are 150+ digital channels plus NFL Sunday Ticket and a large variety of movies recorded for your enjoyment. If you had rather play some games, there is a 9 foot shuffleboard in the living room or a variety of boards games to choose from. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, each with their own King Beds, TV’s, and private bathroom, one of which has a large Jacuzzi tub. The three bedrooms upstairs have Queen beds, one having a private bathroom and two of which share a bathroom. Also upstairs is another bedroom that has a full/full bunk bed and trundle that sleeps 5 with a TV and XBOX. This cabin has enough beds to sleep 17. The game room upstairs has a foosball game table, bar area, 50″TV, and a sleeper sofa. Downstairs is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Lazy Bear Lodge is located in the newly developed, quiet setting of Timber Creek Trails. Two miles north of Hochatown, in the Ouachita National Forest, you are just minutes from the Stevens Gap Marina, Cedar Creek Golf Course, excellent fly fishing on the Lower Mountain Fork River and hundreds of miles of forestry logging trails for off-road activity. During the day make memories roaming the beautiful natural forest for “treasures”, or take your shoes off and wade in the cool waters of the spring fed creek. Go for an adventure by wading through the creek and try catching crawfish. This is a great place for families to explore the forest together with almost 2 acres of land behind the property. For night time enjoyment, don’t forget the marshmallows for roasting s’mores by the campfire, charcoal for grilling, and your bathing suit so you can spend time relaxing in the hot tub.
